9 Ingredients

  • 500 g whole milk
  • 50 g butter
  • 1 x vanilla bean
  • 100 g plus 1 Tbsp AP (Plain) flour
  • 250 g (unsifted) powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp sea salt (use a little less if table salt)
  • 2 large eggs (Use the freshest eggs you could find, they make a difference.)
  • 2 large egg yolks
  • 1/4 cup Rum
