Everybody loved it, from my first grader to his grandma! Added more wine at the end for flavor. Added sautéed mushrooms as well. Major crowd pleaser. Glad I doubled recipe. More for later!

Mmmmmmm!!! I added a bunch of kale, 10 oz of mushrooms, another 3 oz of wine, and 3 cups mushroom broth. Needed to stretch it for xmas lol...Heavenly!!!!!

Ingredients for 6 servings

2 1/2 pounds beef cheek or stew meat, cubed

2 1/2 tablespoons unsalted butter

2 1/2 tablespoons flour

3 1/2 ounces red wine

3 cups beef stock

2 medium onions, diced

2 cloves garlic, minced

2 carrots, peeled and chopped

1 cup peas

4 celery ribs, diced

3 yukon gold potatos, diced

1 bunch thyme, picked, stems discarded

Salt and pepper, to taste
