  • 1 1/4 cups dry white wine (preferably Swiss fendant)
  • 1 lb. (about 3 cups) gruyère cheese, chopped
  • Pinch of nutmeg
  • 1 tbsp. cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp. kirsch
