3/4 cup unsalted butter, chilled and cut into small dice

1 cup dried sweetened cranberries,

3/4 cup flaked almonds, toasted and then chopped

1 cup well-shaken buttermilk, plus more if needed

1 tbsp granulated sugar

1 tbsp lemon juice
