1/2 pound tomatoes, peeled, seeded and diced

6 garlic cloves, smashed

5 fresh basil leaves

Salt and pepper to taste

1/2 pound eggplant

1/2 pound zucchini

1/2 pound kabocha or other autumn squash, peeled
