I don't know where he got the ground nut oil idea . In kerala we use coconut oil. If it is not available then sunflower is so much better than ground nut oil. Ground nut oil and coriander leaves make the curry 'not keralan ' or he maybe got this recipe from border of keralaAnd tamilnadu . Jamie took tomatoGround nut oil and cocoriander leafFrom tamilnadu and coconut milk from kerala and named this curry keralan fish curry.

Ingredients

750 g firm white fish cut into chunks

1 tsp turmeric

1 tsp mustard seeds

6 shallots finely sliced

1 x 400g tin of chopped tomatoes

4 garlic cloves finely sliced

1 tbsp chilli powder

Groundnut oil

Chopped coriander basmati rice and naan bread to serve

1 x 400ml tin coconut milk

20 curry leaves

1 green chilli finely sliced

1 x 2 5cm piece of ginger finely sliced
