Ingredients for 4 servings

16 ounces tri-color cheese tortellini, cooked al dente and drained

1 (15 ounce) can kidney beans , drained and rinsed (can use butter beans)

1 teaspoon garlic , minced

4 cups beef broth

garnish with grated parmesan cheese

1 1/2 cups peeled and thinly sliced carrots

2 cups diced zucchini

2 cups water

1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper

1 (6 ounce) can pitted sliced ripe olives , drained

serve with garlic or regular French bread

1 1/2 lbs Italian sausages

1 1/2 teaspoons italian seasoning

1 cup chopped onion

1 (16 ounce) can whole tomatoes
