11 Ingredients

  • 1 can of garbanzo beans, drained and rinsed
  • 2 preserved lemons, rinds only, chopped, plus 2 tsps juice from the jar (recipe below)
  • 1/4 cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 1/3 cup tahini paste
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 10 lemons (meyer if you have access, but if not regular lemons are fine)
  • 1/2 cup sea salt
  • 1 cup white sesame seeds
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
