1 recipe Chocolate Sauce, recipe follows

1 tablespoon unsalted butter

Pinch salt

1 teaspoon sugar

3/4 cup sugar

Confectioners' sugar, for garnish

1 vanilla bean, split in 1/2 lengthwise

1/2 pound semisweet chocolate chips (1 1/3 cups)

2 cups milk
