Ingredients for 4 servings

1/4 cup red wine

2 tablespoons olive oil

12 ounces pasta (penne or whatever you like)

8 ounces mushrooms , sliced (you can substitute other veggies if you prefer, like zucchini)

2 cups of your favorite ready-made spaghetti sauce

1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese (cubed)

shrimp (peeled and deveined) (optional) or chicken piece (optional)

1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes

3 garlic cloves , crushed

1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar

1/2 cup sun-dried tomato packed in oil (drained and chopped) or of red pepper pesto sauce
