Ingredients for 24 servings

1 cup organic buckwheat flour

1 cup sorghum flour

1/2 cup tapioca starch

1 1/2 tsp Xanthan Gum

1 1/2 tsp Baking Soda

1 tsp sea salt

1 tsp spectrum organic shortening

1 1/2 cup organic light brown sugar, packed

1 tbsp bourbon vanilla extract

1 tbsp Honey (or raw agave nectar to keep it vegan)

2 tbsp ener-G egg replacer whisked with 1/4 cup warm water till frothy

3 tbsp vanilla rice milk hemp milk, as needed, to make the dough smooth and malleable

Fruit jam to fill the thumbprints.
