1 1/2 tsp. salt

1/4 tsp. freshly grated nutmeg

4 lightly beaten eggs

2 cups whole milk

1 cup (2 sticks) butter , melted, then cooled slightly

1 tsp. vanilla extract

1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon

1/4 cup toasted, chopped pecans

1/4 cup chopped dried cherries or other dried fruit

1 ripe banana , peeled and diced

1/4 cup toasted, chopped walnuts

3 Tbsp. whole milk , if needed

1/4 cup semisweet chocolate chips

1/4 cup peanut butter chips
