  • 2 1/2 tsps salt, divided
  • 3 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 lb uncooked linguine
  • 3 Tbsps extravirgin olive oil, divided
  • 6 garlic cloves, sliced
  • 1/2 tsp crushed red pepper
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh flat-leaf parsley
