4 lamb shoulder chops (1 to 1 1/2 pounds total), each cut into several pieces

4 boned chicken breasts, each cut into several pieces

8 garlic cloves, chopped

Large pinch dried oregano

Several sprigs fresh rosemary

Juice of 1 lemon

2 to 3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil

Salt and pepper, to taste

2 zucchini, trimmed and sliced lengthwise

1 small to medium eggplant, cut into 1°8-inch-thick slices

1 red bell pepper, stemmed, deribbed and cut into wedges

4 ripe tomatoes, cored and cut into wedges, or 1 box cherry tomatoes

Sprigs of fresh herbs, such as mint, rosemary or Italian parsley, for garnish
