1 medium onion, chopped

3 cloves garlic, minced

large pinch ground red pepper

1 can (8 ounces) tomato sauce

1/2 cup reduced-sodium, fat-free chicken or vegetable broth

2 tablespoons no-salt-added tomato paste

2 cups frozen wax beans or italian cut green beans

1 1/2 cups hot cooked brown rice
