  • 2 medium onions, thinly sliced and cut into half moons
  • 1/2 tsp celery seeds
  • 1 tsp mustard seeds
  • 14 oz. chopped tomatoes (about 2 medium tomatoes, peeled)
  • 1 red bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 Tbsp red wine vinegar
  • 1 1/2 Tbsps sugar
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/8 tsp ground allspice
  • 1 pinch cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 tsp salt, plus one pinch
