  • 2 qts (2 1/2 lb.) regular rolled oats
  • 3/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup unprocessed bran (optional)
  • 1/4 cup salad oil
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tsps vanilla
  • 1 cup chopped dried apples, apricots, peaches, pears, or prunes
  • 1/2 cup dried cranberries or raisins
  • 2 Tbsps chopped crystallized ginger
