3 1/2-4 lbs sweet potatoes , peeled and cut into 2 inch chunks
1/3 cup sugar
2/3 cup golden raisin
1 1/2 tsps apple pie spice
3 Tbsps butter , cut up
1 cup coarsely chopped pecans
2 Tbsps butter
