• 1 box of cake mix (any flavor. We used vanilla.)
• 1 stick of butter (softened. Ours was partially melted.)
• 1 egg
• 1 (8 oz) bar of cream cheese softened
• 2 T butter
• 2 T milk
• 1/2 t. salt
• 1 t. vanilla paste (or vanilla extract)
• 4 cups powdered sugar
• Food coloring (optional)
