4 cloves garlic, peeled and pressed

1 can (14 1/2 oz.) fat-skimmed chicken broth

1 can (8 oz.) tomato sauce

1/2 cup dry red wine

1 teaspoon dried oregano

8 ounces dried penne pasta

3/4 pound arugula (about 10 cups)

2 cans (15 oz. each) cannellini (white) beans, rinsed and drained

About 1/2 cup shredded parmesan cheese
