1 1/2 tsp sugar

1/2 tbsp malt powder or sugar

1 1/2 cup water, at room temperature

2 1/4 cup bread flour

1/2 x plus 1/8 teaspoon instant yeast

2 tbsp caraway seeds (you can grind these if you want to avoid the crunch)

1/2 tbsp coarse salt

1/2 tbsp vegetable oil

about 2 teaspoons cornmeal for sprinkling
