1 (900gms) pomfret, cleaned and cut into pieces

1 tsp (5gms) turmeric powder

2 tsp (10gms) salt

Oil for frying

½ tsp (2gms) fenugreek seeds

½ tsp (2gms) cumin seeds

4 bay leaves

1 cup (200gms ) onions, chopped fine

4 tsp (20gms) ginger-garlic paste

½ cup (10gms) tomatoes, chopped fine

2 tsp (10gms) green chilies, sliced

¾ tsp (4gms) chili powder

1 tsp coriander powder

500 ml water

5 gms coriander leaves, chopped
