1 teaspoon chopped fresh oregano

1 canned chipotle chile, chopped, plus sauce

1 tablespoon tomato paste

1 tablespoon brown sugar

1/4 cup brewed coffee

1 can (15 oz) diced tomatoes

3/4 cup uncooked red or brown lentils

1 can (15 oz) reduced-sodium black beans
