Ingredients for 12 servings

2 cups cornmeal (I prefer buttermilk style)

4-5 cups chicken broth (canned broth works fine(use 4 cups if you want to cut dressing with knife-will still be moist--use)

1-2 teaspoon sugar (depending on taste)

1 1/2 cups milk

salt and pepper

3/4 cup chopped celery

3/4 cup chopped onion

2 cups finely crumbled loaf bread

1/4 cup milk

4 eggs , beaten

1 egg

1/4 cup oil
