1/2 cup sugar

3 cups heavy cream

Creme Brulee, recipe follows

1/4 cup sugar

6 egg yolks

1/2 to 3/4 cup fruit, such as sliced strawberries, apricots, ripe pears, raspberries, or blueberries (a mixture is nice)
