1 1/2 cup white whole wheat flour ( or whole wheat flour… or just use only all-purpose flour)

2 cup light brown sugar, packed

1/3 cup granulated sugar

2 tsp baking soda

1 tsp baking powder

1 tsp salt

1 tsp freshly grated nutmeg

1 tsp cinnamon

1 tsp allspice

1/2 tsp cloves

1 x 15-ounce can pumpkin puree, or just under two cups

1 cup vegetable oil

1/3 cup maple syrup

1/3 cup water

1 cup chopped walnuts
