2 medium zucchini (1 to 1 1/4 lb total), quartered lengthwise and cut crosswise into 1/2-inch-thick pieces

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 garlic clove, finely chopped

1 1/2 teaspoons chopped fresh oregano
