11 Ingredients

  • 2-inch piece of fresh ginger, peeled
  • 2 Tbsps white wine vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp sugar
  • 1/4 tsp kosher salt + salt to taste
  • Freshly ground pepper, to taste
  • 7 Tbsps vegetable oil
  • 12 ozs shredded carrots (available packaged in produce sections)
  • 1 to 1 1/2 lbs prepared raw meat-loaf mix
  • 4 pieces of onion or rosemary focaccia bread, each 3 x 3 inches and at least 1 1/2 inches thick
  • Prepared aioli, or condiments of choice, such as mayonnaise and mustard
  • A few handfuls baby greens
