1 cup plus 2 tablespoons firmly packed brown sugar

3 large eggs

1/3 cup plus I tablespoon whole milk

1 tablespoon Irish cream liqueur, such as Bailey's

1/4 cup mini semisweet chocolate chips

For the soaking liquid:

20 tablespoons unsalted butter

1 2/3 cups heavy cream

1 2/3 cups firmly packed brown sugar

2 tablespoons Irish cream liqueur, such as Bailey's


2 cups (480 grams) heavy cream
