1 1/2 cups Carnaroli, Arborio or Vialone Nano rice

1/2 cup white wine

3/4 cup tomato sauce (preferably homemade)

1 tablespoon finely minced fresh herbs, such as parsley, sage, rosemary and basil

Approximately 5 cups vegetable broth, simmering

1/2 cup peeled and diced fresh tomato

1/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan
