1/3 cup water

3/4 teaspoon salt

2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley

3/4 cup red wine (or 3/4 cup beef stock and 1 tbsp. wine vinegar)

3 garlic cloves , minced

1/2 teaspoon pepper

1 tablespoon vegetable oil
