1 and 2/3 cups ( 200 g) flour

2 teaspoons baking powder

2/3 cup and 1 tablespoon ( 160 g) sugar, divided

2 Tablespoons sugar, for topping

1 package vanilla sugar or 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/8 teaspoon salt

2 large eggs

7 Tablespoons ( 100 g) butter, cut in pieces, room temperature

1/2 cup and 1 Tablespoon (125 g) heavy whipping cream

3.6 oz. ( 100 g) ground almonds

1/4 cup (50 g) sliced almonds, for topping
