1/4 cup potato starch

2 tbsp arrowroot

1 cup unrefined sugar or 10 tablespoons plus 2 teaspoons agave nectar

2 1/4 tsp baking powder

1/4 tsp baking soda

1/4 tsp xantham gum

1 tsp salt

1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

1/2 cup store-bought unsweetened applesauce

2 tbsp pure vanilla extract

1/2 cup brewed coffee or hot water

2 cup vegan gluten-free chocolate chips, such as Tropical Source
