6 cups Pioneer Biscuit Mix or equivalent baking mix (alternatively, you can use 6 cups flour, 3 tablespoons baking powder, and 1/2 teaspoon salt, blended together in a food processor or blender with 3/4 cup chilled, unsalted butter cut into very small pie

3 cups half-and-half

1 cup sugar

1/4 teaspoon nutmeg

1/2 pound (2 sticks) unsalted butter

14-ounce can Eagle Brand Condensed Milk

3 1/2 cups heavy cream

2 tablespoons pure vanilla extract

1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg

4 tablespoons unsalted butter

Dash nutmeg

2 tablespoons cornstarch

1 tablespoon vanilla

3 egg yolks

1 quart half-and-half

Honey (optional)

Champagne grapes (optional)

Fresh figs (optional)
