1 large (about 2 1/2 pounds) whole savoy cabbage, cored; keep outer leaves intact

2 tablespoons olive oil

1/2 large yellow onion, peeled and finely chopped (1 cup)

3 medium cloves garlic, chopped

1 pound ground turkey

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon onion salt

2 teaspoons sweet paprika

1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

1 large egg, lightly beaten

1 cup cooked basmati rice

1 tablespoon olive oil

1/2 large or 1 medium yellow onion, cut into half-moon slices

1 teaspoon Thai red curry paste

1 cup low-sodium chicken broth

1 cup tomato sauce

7 tablespoons creme fraiche (optional)

Chopped chives (optional)
