1 1/2 teaspoons kosher salt

2 1/2 sticks unsalted butter, slightly softened

1 1/4 cup light brown sugar

1 cup plus 2 tablespoons granulated sugar

2 large eggs, at room temperature

2 teaspoons vanilla extract

2 cups of [quality] chocolate chips or pieces – , gluten-free

sea salt, good quality – I made half batch with sea salt, half without
