So glad you enjoyed it, Copy Cat! I use sea salt, which tends to be a lot stronger than Kosher, so if that's what you were using, then definitely add more to taste! The prosciutto idea is genius. Will have to give that a go next time :) xo

I made this last night. It was great on all counts but needs some more salt. I had some fresh grated Parmesan but would of been perfect with some finley shaved prosciutto. Great recipe thx!

Ingredients for 2 servings

½ pound linguine (or other long pasta shape)

2 tablespoons olive oil

3 cloves garlic, thinly sliced

1 shallot, thinly sliced

1 bunch asparagus, trimmed and cut into ½ in pieces

Sea salt

½ teaspoon chili flakes

½ cup heavy cream

Juice and zest of 1 lemon

½ cup peas (fresh or frozen)

2 handfuls of baby arugula (about 1-2 ounces)
