5 ounces dried chickpeas

2 large whole chicken legs, split

1/2 pound boneless veal from the shank

1 ham bone, about 1 pound

1/4 head of cabbage, shredded

1 large leek, white and tender green part, well rinsed and sliced

2 celery stalks, sliced

1 large carrot, diced

2 large potatoes, diced

2 eggs

5 ounces ground pork

2 garlic cloves, minced

2 large parsely sprigs, chopped

Salt and pepper to taste

2 tablespoons fine breadcrumbs, or as needed

Flour for coating

1 blood sausage, 5 to 6 ounces (optional)

2 ounces pasta (spaghetti or vermicelli), broken into pieces
