3/4 cup (131 g) granulated sugar, divided

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

3 large eggs

2 teaspoons bourbon

1 cup (215 g) canned pumpkin puree (not pre-made pie filling)

3/4 teaspoon cinnamon

1/2 teaspoon ground ginger

1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg

1 cup (240 ml) heavy whipping cream

2 tablespoons bourbon
