1/4 cup caramelized onions

2 x raw red onions

1/2 tsp Red chili powder

1/2 tsp paprika

1/2 tsp garam masala

1/3 cup ground almonds

1 x Anaheim green pepper, finely chopped

1/2 tsp black pepper, freshly ground

1-1/4 tsp salt

3 tbsp Plain yogurt

3 tbsp fresh mint leaves, chopped

3 tbsp cilantro, chopped

1/2 cup canola oil, as needed

2 x shallots, sliced and fried

6 x hamburger buns

2 x beefsteak tomatoes, sliced

3/4 cup raita
