If you want a healthier version, I used plain yoghurt instead of mayonnaise and it still tasted good.

1/2 pound smoked trout fillet

2/3 cups 2% cottage cheese

2 heaping tablespoons creme fraiche

1/4 cup chopped fresh chives

1/2 teaspoon prepared white horseradish, drained

salt and pepper to taste
