This is a very versatile recipe. Very easy to make an I can think of at least 4 ways of serving it off the top of my head. I've uploaded a picture of my favourite one: over nacho chips with soured cream.

Ingredients for 4 servings

500.0g lean minced beef

410 g can red kidney beans

1 large onion

1 beef stock cube

1 heaped tsp hot chilli powder (or 1 level tbsp if you only have mild)

2 garlic cloves , peeled

1 red pepper

1.0 tsp sugar

400 g can chopped tomatoes

soured cream and plain boiled long grain rice , to serve

2.0 tbsp tomato purée

1.0 tsp paprika

½ tsp dried marjoram

1.0 tbsp oil

1.0 tsp ground cumin
