My discovery of the year so far. I replaced some of the chocolate with dried sour cherries though. The outcome was truly delicious and lasted barely two days! :)

Ok I was a little hesitant, but these cookies rock!!! I will totally make these again. The DIY sauce undetectable but adds a slight smokiness that allows the chocolate to come thru. I used a combo of bittersweet and semisweet. Yummy!
