Ingredients for 4 servings

cilantro , garnish (optional)

1 dash cinnamon

chopped green onion , garnish (optional)

1 zucchini , cubed

1 tablespoon chili powder (for spicer soup use 2 tablespoons)

2 potatoes , peeled and cubed

1 (2 ounce) can chopped black olives (about 1/4 cup)

2 green onions , chopped finely

1/2 cup frozen peas, thawed

2 hard-boiled eggs

4 cups water (if you prefer a thicker soup use 3 cups)

1 teaspoon fresh cilantro , minced (or more to taste)

1/2 cup cooked brown rice

1/2 cup monterey jack cheese or cheddar cheese , shredded (optional garnish)

1/2 cup breadcrumbs

1 (14 ounce) can chicken broth (I use lower sodium version)

sliced black olives , garnish (optional)

1 1/2 tablespoons fresh sage , minced

sour cream , garnish (optional)

1 clove garlic , minced

1 lb ground chicken

1 (6 ounce) can tomato paste

1 summer squash, cubed

1/2 cup frozen corn kernels , thawed

1 teaspoon fresh oregano , minced (or 1/4 teaspoon dried)

1 tablespoon cocoa
