1 bunch (6 ounces) fresh dill, trimmed (top tender part of the stems are OK) and finely chopped

3 tablespoons pink lentils or green or yellow split peas, rinsed and drained

1 cup water

1/4- 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt

Tomato wedges for garnish
