1/3 cup sugar

1/4 cup yellow cornmeal

2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

Apple Filling

1/4 teaspoon nutmeg

1/4 cup butter

Cornmeal Crust Dough

8-10 tablespoons apple cider , chilled

1/4 teaspoon salt

4 1/2 lbs granny smith apples (or Braeburns)

1 1/2 cups brown sugar

3 tablespoons sugar

2 tablespoons sugar
