1 1/4 cups milk

1/2 cup hominy grits

1 cup grated cheddar cheese

A dash of granulated garlic

2-3 dashes of hot sauce

1/2 teaspoon paprika

1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil (EVOO)

2 slices bacon, chopped

1 small red onion, thinly sliced

1 pound Swiss chard or red Swiss chard, stemmed and coarsely chopped

2-3 tablespoons cider or wine vinegar

1 teaspoon sugar
