This was today's breakfast. It's really easy to make. I was worried when I read the comments on the webpage questioning the amount of water to use. My package of millet says to use 2 C. water while the recipe uses 6 C. I guessed that usually millet should be like couscous & come out relatively dry while this recipe is meant to make it like porridge. Once it's done cooking & sets up, it's not too watery at all. The dish is not as sweet as I was expecting so I might add some more syrup or honey next time.

6 cups water

1/4 teaspoon salt

1 cup millet

1/2 cup soy milk

1/2 cup chopped fresh pineapple

1/4 cup large-flake unsweetened coconut, toasted

4 teaspoons flaxseeds

1/4 cup pure maple syrup
