1/2 cup nuts, chopped

Fudge Frosting (the original 1959 version)

1 cup light cream

1/4 cup sugar

3 cups flour , sifted

1 tablespoon flour

2 unsweetened chocolate squares, grated

Date Cream Filling (recipe follows)

1 cup whole milk

1/2 cup dates , chopped fine

1 teaspoon vanilla
