1 1/2 pounds mild Italian sausage

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 onion, minced

1/2 cup chopped fresh parsley

1 1/2 teaspoons minced fresh thyme

1 1/2 teaspoons freshly ground black pepper + more to taste

1 teaspoon sea salt + more to taste
